A yellow heart-shaped poster promotes mental health awareness and suicide prevention, organized by IVAN RJ Foundation. It lists steps to identify signs, voice concerns, ask for help, notice signs, listen, and find help, with a focus on helping friends.

5-4-3-2-1 technique to calm your system down.

Our Mission

1. Increase mental health awareness among college students, teenagers, teachers, and parents by providing information to learn detect signs of depression and where to seek help, in order to prevent suicides.

2. Educate and empower young men and women to be proud of who they are, to learn coping mechanisms for anxiety and depression and learn  about the warning signs of mental health struggles or bullying, to communicate worries, and find help for themselves and/or friends to save lives.

3.   Advocate for legislation that requires schools to teach acceptance and compassion—both for oneself and for others. Promote the integration of mindfulness, empathy, and compassion practices into the curriculum from elementary school through high school to foster emotional resilience and support suicide prevention among students.

4. Offer scholarships for college or technical education to students willing to help identify the signs for themselves and peers.

5. Help parents and families recognize the warning signs of suicide to prevent loss of life.  Additionally, provide compassionate guidance on supporting survivors as they heal.
