Fundraiser for 2026

We are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and your gift is tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

1. Volunteer to be a Yellow Heart Ambassador* of life: Learn the warning signs, be a friend, seek help, and save a life

2.  Request your delegate and school board to update school laws and policies to include mindfulness classes at all educational levels. Mindfulness education offers several key benefits:

  • Promotes Emotional Resilience: Students learn coping mechanisms for anxiety and depression, helping them manage stress and adversity more effectively.

  • Fosters Empathy and Acceptance: Mindfulness practices encourage greater empathy, self-acceptance, and respect for others, contributing to a more inclusive and supportive school environment.

  • Reduces Bullying and Risk Behaviors: By cultivating compassion and emotional awareness, mindfulness can decrease incidents of bullying and risky behaviors among students.

  • Improves Academic and Social Outcomes: Students who practice mindfulness demonstrate improved focus, better communication skills, and stronger relationships with peers and teachers.

  • Supports Suicide Prevention: Early education on emotional health and warning signs empowers students, parents, and educators to recognize and address mental health struggles, ultimately helping to prevent suicides.

Integrating mindfulness into the curriculum equips students with lifelong skills for well-being, empathy, and resilience, building a healthier and more compassionate community.
